Christ’s unsurpassed love for humanity enters the world to restore the grace that has been lost.
It is the sent Christ who carries out the will of the Father
By laying down his life as the suffering Lamb, Christ overcomes the divine dilemma. How would God who is Love allow his beautiful creation to perish?
We are made in his image – are we not? Yet, with mercy comes justice. God made known the consequence of sin – “Ye shall surely die.”
Jesus enters – Immanuel
By the love of the Son – Salvation comes.

Christ breaks into the darkness to save us. He willingly offers Himself in our place, as the sacrificial Lamb to reconcile the world with the Father. Healing begins from Mary’s womb at the moment of the Immaculate Conception. She who God loved first – answers Yes to the divine call to be the Mother of God – “Theotokos”. Her perfect humility and purity surround Angel Gabriel’s “Hail Mary” greeting.
The “Hand-maiden of the Lord” rejoices with the Magnificat.
Advent brings the anticipation and wonder that is to come in the Incarnation.
Chosen Mary knew the promise foretold by the Prophet Isaiah
“Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold,
a Virgin shall conceive, and bear a son and shall call
his name Immanuel (Isaiah 7:14).
The road taking her there was made ready
– a manger waiting for Mary and the Christ child.
The prophecy fulfilled.
The North star awaits our gaze.
The candle wick is still dry.
Ready the Way for the Lord with Prayer…
Come O’ Lord! Come!
Yet in this world, darkened clouds persist
Intercepting Your twilight breaking
Weakness overwhelms O’ Lord
Filling our minds on things to fear
Come O’ Lord –
You are so welcome
Please dwell here
In our heart – in our home
Descend O King of Kings from your heavenly throne
Breathe your Spirit in my soul
Forgive my faults, failures and fears
For apart from you there is nothing
Wait – Yes, now I see!
It is because I am weak that you come for me
With my imperfections, troubles and travails
Still, you come for all of me – turning no part away
To bring Peace found only in You.
With love and forgiveness that never fails
Yes, a miracle is underway this night
Your work is not done
Salvation enters the night’s midst
Come O’ Immanuel.
Please Come
I am here
Waiting with Prayer
